Ukraine interested in grain supplies to Iran - minister
The Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine has said that there is a possibility of Ukraine supplying grain to Iran.
"There is the interest in supplies of grain to Iran. The common desire is up to almost 3 million tonnes," Minister Oleksiy Pavlenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
He said that the ministry's representatives will be part of a delegation which will depart for Iran in the near future.
As reported, Ukraine's Economic Development and Trade Minister Aivaras Abromavicius said that Ukraine is to initiate cooperation with Iran, including in production, due to the expected decision of the U.S. to lift sanctions from the country.
