Yatseniuk to consult with government, President on raising minimum wage
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk is going to consult with the government and the President on increasing the minimum wage, he said at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv on Wednesday.
"Within this week, I'll finish all technical consultations with you as well as the talks with the President on our further actions in the issues of increasing social standards," Yatseniuk said.
He said that there are a few ways to solve the issue, which would require amendments to the budget.
Yatseniuk added that he and Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko, and Social Policy Minister Pavlo Rozenko, will discuss the amount of the raise, available resources, and terms
