Food embargo to extend to Ukraine if association agreement with EU comes into force – PM
Moscow is not seeing any prerequisites for agreeing by the end of the year with Ukraine and the EU on issues connected with the economic part of Ukraine's association agreement with the EU coming into force, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
"As concerns Ukraine, the ban on the import of agricultural products will come into effect only if the government of this country adopts the economic portion of the association agreement with the EU, which Kyiv signed in June of last year," Medvedev said at a government meeting on Thursday.
