Fiscal service launches probe into Centrenergo's tax evasion
The State Fiscal Service on August 4 registered a criminal proceeding into state-controlled power generation PJSC Centrenergo on charges of large-scale tax evasion, First Deputy head of the State Fiscal Service, tax police chief Serhiy Bilan said.
"We've identified a number of bogus companies used for money laundering. An investigation is under way, we'll report upon its completion," he said at a Cabinet meeting in Kyiv on Wednesday.
