Yatseniuk proposes that finance ministry, fiscal service to draw up excise duty e-administration system
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has proposed that the Finance Ministry and the State Fiscal Service draw up the excise duty electronic administration system as it was down with value added tax (VAT) administration.
"The VAT electronic administration system suits those who pay taxes transparently and openly. The excise duty electronic administration system would suit them too," he said at a meeting at the Finance Ministry on Monday.
The premier proposed the creation of the excise duty electronic administration system after Head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov said that only 60% of fuel sellers pay the excise duty, and the rest of the sellers avoid paying it using various schemes.
