Centrenergo posts UAH 268 mln net loss in H1, 2015
Energy generating company PJSC Centrenergo in January-June 2015 saw a net loss of UAH 268.31 million against UAH 76.484 million of net profit during the same period in 2014.
According to a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, its net income in the first half of the year decreased by 22.9%, to UAH 2.855 billion. Gross loss amounted to UAH 189.696 million against UAH 174.651 million in gross profit for the first half of 2014.
Production of electricity by the company in the first half of this year decreased by 29.8% compared to the same period in 2014, to 4.701 billion kWh.
Centrenergo operates the Vuhlehirska, Zmiyivska and Trypilska thermal power plants, which have a total installed capacity of 7.550 gigawatts. The state owns a 78.3% stake in the company through national JSC Energy Company of Ukraine.
