PrivatBank introduces remittances using TransferWise money transfer system

The largest bank in Ukraine PrivatBank (Dnipropetrovsk) has introduced the money transfer service using the TransferWise international money transfer system (Britain), the bank said in a press release.

According to the report, money can be transferred using the online platform for money transfer. It is enough to give the payment card details to receive the money. The sum will be loaded to the card within one banking day. The recipient does not pay a fee for loading the money to the payment card and can draw money at any ATM.

PrivatBank was founded in 1992. According to the bank, its largest shareholders are Hennadiy Boholiubov and Ihor Kolomoisky with the stakes of 45.3349% each.

The bank was the largest bank among 133 operating Ukrainian banks on April 1, 2015 in terms of total assets (UAH 248.041 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.

TransferWise supports over 26 foreign currencies, 48 countries and 360 directions. It takes from one to two days to transfer money.
