Ukrzaliznytsia mulling cooperation with Slovenian telecoms equipment maker Iskratel
State Railways Administration of Ukraine Ukrzaliznytsia is considering the possibility of cooperation with the Slovenian producer of telecommunications equipment Iskratel.
According to the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, cooperation was discussed at a meeting with a Slovenian delegation at the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure.
"Following the approval of the consolidated financial plan of Ukrainian railways, it is planned to hold an extended meeting at Ukrzaliznytsia with the participation of representatives of Iskratel telecommunications company. Iskratel representatives, in turn, invite Ukrzaliznytsia specialists in Slovenia to study in detail the equipment used at local railways," Ukrzaliznytsia Acting CEO Oleksandr Zavhorodniy said.
Ukrzaliznytsia noted that it has a positive history of using Iskratel telecommunications equipment for digital automatic telephone stations.
