Ukrainian airlines say demand for flights to Greece remains high
Ukrainian airliners haven't noticed a drop in passenger flow to Greece despite the crisis in the country.
Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) told Interfax-Ukraine said that due to it being summer and the fact that passengers come from Ukraine, Greece, and many other countries, the events in Greece won't affect passenger numbers immediately
"We're not seeing an increase in refusals from flights currently. However, we're watching the unfolding of events attentively and are ready to flexibly adapt of possible change in demand if needed," UIA said.
Kyiv-based Windrose, which operates charter flights, also said that passenger flow had remained normal and the number of passengers flying to Greece remains high.
UIA was founded in 1992. It is the largest Ukrainian airline. Its base airport is Boryspil (Kyiv). The UIA fleet consists of 31 aircraft, including 27 medium-haul and four long-haul airplanes.
Windrose was founded in 2003. Its core business is organizing and performing charter, corporate, tourist and VIP flights.
