Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed acting head of the National Commission of Ukraine for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) Dmytro Vovk as the head of the commission.
The president signed a relevant decree on Monday, June 29.
As reported, Poroshenko, the major co-owner of Roshen Corporation, on December 30, 2014 appointed Vovk as acting head of the NCER.
Vovk worked as a national sales manager for Russia in Roshen in 2013-2014. Before working at Roshen, Vovk worked as the assistant to the vice president of corporate finances for Investment Capital of Ukraine (ICU), a former employee of which, Volodymyr Demchyshyn, headed the commission in 2014. In autumn of the same year Demchyshyn was appointed as Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine.
