Ukraine hopes to sign an agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) on a loan worth EUR 400 million under an energy efficiency program on July 23, according to Deputy Prime Minister Henandiy Zubko.
"We expect that as early as on July 23, an agreement worth EUR 400 million will be signed with the EIB. It has unprecedented conditions: [the lending period is] up to 30 years for water supply utilities and 20 years for heating utilities on condition of the modernization of heating systems," he said during a meeting with regional governors on Friday.
