Ukrainian energy minister to participate in June 30 gas talks
Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn will take part in trilateral gas talks on June 30, the ministry said on its website.
"At a meeting in Vienna we want to sign a new package of agreements on gas supplies for the whole heating season. According to our information, Russia has not yet decided on its final position. We will insist on the continuation of the conditions that were in effect last year," the press service said, citing the minister.
As reported, Russia's Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov has confirmed that Russia, Ukraine and the European Union will hold gas talks at the ministerial level in Vienna on June 30.
