Ukrainian finance minister denies information on requalification of debt for Russian eurobonds to interstate
Ukraine is continuing to consider eurobonds for $3 billion with repayment at the end of 2015, which were issued to the Russian National Welfare Fund (NWF), as any other Ukrainian eurobonds and denies information in the media that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has allegedly reviewed its position and now considers this debt official or interstate, Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko has said.
"There was no such decision, this was Bloomberg or Reuters or someone from some anonymous sources. There is no such decision. Look at the official website of the IMF and at the quotes for the head of the IMF, for the deputy head of the IMF on this issue a month ago. Nothing has changed," the minister told journalists in Kyiv on Thursday.
