Ukraine could cut gas consumption to 34 bcm or less in 2015 – Ukrtransgaz
Public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz has predicted that Ukraine will reduce natural gas consumption in 2015 to 34 billion cubic meters (bcm) or even less, Head of public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz Ihor Prokopiv said on Thursday.
"We predict 34 billion cubic meters and maybe less," he said.
Prokopiv added that the reason for such a large reduction of consumption is the stoppage of gas supplies to occupied districts of Donbas, the decline in industrial production, and other factors.
