Ukraine fiscal service should set up customs checkpoints in western region with EU - Yatseniuk
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has instructed the State Fiscal Service to establish joint checkpoints with EU member states on the western border of Ukraine as part of the ongoing reform of the service.
"We must establish joint checkpoints with the EU member states on the western border. This is an urgent task, where Polish and Ukrainians together carry out customs clearance of goods," he said during the presentation of State Fiscal Service reform in Kyiv.
Yatseniuk went on to stress the need to conduct a detailed IT audit and propose a plan for the introduction of e-customs.
