Naftogaz plans to start selecting candidates for Ukrnafta leadership after legal risks removed
Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to start selecting candidates for the leadership of PJSC Ukrnafta after the removal of legal risks, the press service of Naftogaz has told Interfax-Ukraine, with reference to its head Andriy Kobolev.
"The current procedure of selecting and appointing the heads of public sector entities (Cabinet resolution No. 777) is not suitable for the selection of heads for such companies as Ukrnafta if we really want to attract high-quality professionals ... We have developed necessary proposals and this week passed them to the relevant ministries. We hope for a speedy consideration. When legal risks are removed, we will post information about the start of a tender," the press service said.
According to Kobolev, resolution No. 777 requires that the candidates should personally submit documents (including a certificate of good conduct and a medical certificate) at the initial stage of selection, which is unacceptable for professionals because of how busy they are.
