Deposit Guarantee Fund extends temporary administration at Omega Bank for one month

The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund has prolonged temporary administration at Omega Bank (Kyiv) for one month – until July 3, 2015, the fund said in a report on Thursday.

Omega Bank (formerly Swedbank) was created in 1991. Lahun held 99.9998% in Omega Bank as of early 2015. Lahun is the key shareholder in Delta Bank and the only shareholder in Kreditprombank where temporary administration was also introduced by the fund.

Omega Bank ranked 102nd 158 operating banks as of January 1, 2015, in terms of total assets worth UAH 768 million, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
