Ukrainian macroeconomic indicators will not worsen – economy minister
Ukrainian macroeconomic indicators will not worsen in the future, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius has said.
"I believe that the worst macroeconomic indicators are in the past," he said at a press conference with the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday.
He said the stability of the country's economy has been fixed for three months. If the situation in eastern Ukraine does not worsen, neither will the macroeconomic indicators, and growth could subsequently be expected in 2016.
Abromavicius did not give a straight answer about whether the government will revise its macroeconomic indicators for 2015 due to the revision of the forecast for Ukraine's GDP fall this year to 9% by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and inflation to 46%.
