Infrastructure ministry says talks on Ukrzaliznytsia's local debt restructuring will end in summer

Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarksy has predicted that talks on the restructuring of the local debt of the State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia) will be completed this summer.

"Talks [on Ukrzaliznytsia] are being held. I speak now only about the local debt to local banks. I hope that in summer we will finish the talks and restructure the debt, rebalance the balance and settle payments on the principal of the debt," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Pyvovarksy added that talks on restructuring Ukravtodor's local debt are also being held and they could be finished in three or four months.
