EU-Russia-Ukraine technical negotiations on trade will take place on June 4-5 – European Commission
The next round of the trilateral negotiations between the EU, Russia and Ukraine on the issue of implementation of the free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU will take place at the end of next week.
The technical consultations will take place on June 4-5, European Commission Spokesman for Trade Daniel Rosario told Interfax.
Rosario said the experts will meet in Brussels.
He also said a group of European Commission representatives will be in Moscow on June 2-4 for negotiations on bilateral trade issues.
Rosario also said no official reports are expected to be issued on these consultations and said that, in accordance with the agreements reached by Russian Trade and Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, and European Commissioner on Trade Cecilia Malmstrem, the experts are to prepare their proposals by late July, after which another meeting will be held at the ministerial level.
