Fiscal service asks Naftogaz to dismiss Ukrnafta's top managers over tax debts
The central office of the State Fiscal Service for servicing large taxpayers has asked national joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy to break employment relations with the top managers of public joint-stock company Ukrnafta, as the latter has not paid taxes and duties worth UAH 5.11 billion.
"According to paragraph 96.4 of Article 96 of the Tax Code of Ukraine of December 2, 2010, the appearance of a tax debt with a state or municipal company is the ground for terminating the employment agreement with the head of the company," the service said in a letter sent to Naftogaz Ukrainy on May 28, a copy of which has been sent to Interfax-Ukraine.
