Cabinet to grant UAH 1 bln for houses for military personnel, their families – Yatseniuk
The government will allocate UAH 1 billion to provide housing for military personnel serving in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) and their families, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said,
"From today the Defense Ministry, Interior Ministry, Security Service of Ukraine and other [law] enforcement departments will receive the right to get UAH 1 billion for the ATO participants, as well as for their family members, who died as a result of the anti-terrorist operation against Russian terrorists," Yatseniuk said at a sitting of the government on Wednesday.
Yatseniuk called on the profile ministers to draw up budget programs and ordered the Finance Ministry to fund them "by September to provide the first stage [of housing for] servicemen and their family members."
He added that the related government decree will be issued on Wednesday.
