Ukraine loses 30 points in Doing Business ranking afters Rada's failure to vote for two government bills – Yatseniuk
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that the parliament is responsible Ukraine's failure to improve its investment attractiveness.
"I'm simply disappointed by the fact that the parliament for the third or fourth time has voted down two bills on improving Ukraine's Doing Business rank. We've virtually lost 30 points in an improvement in Ukraine's investment attractiveness because the parliament hasn't supported the bills," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
He also stressed that last year Ukraine's ranking was 16 points up, while this year there was an opportunity to improve it by 30 more points, which the country has failed to achieve.
