Petrol and diesel fuel sales at fuel stations down by one third in April - statistics
Retail petrol sales at fuel filling stations in Ukraine (excluding occupied Crimea) fell by 32.3% in April 2015 compared to April 2014, to 149,600 tonnes, according to the State Statistics Service.
At the same time, retail sales of diesel fuel at fuel stations in April fell by 36.9%, to 106,900 tonnes, liquefied natural gas - by 0.4%, to 39,500 tonnes, compressed gas by 30.9%, to 6,500 tonnes.
A-95 petrol accounted for 51.8% of the petrol sold last month; the share of A-92 petrol was 47.8%, A-80 - 0.2%, and A-98 - 0.2%.
According to the State Statistics Service, the total cost of petrol sold at fuel stations in April was UAH 3.993 billion (the share was 54%), diesel fuel – UAH 2.613 billion (35.3%), liquefied natural gas - UAH 663.3 million (9%), compressed gas - UAH 129.1 million (1.7%).
As of May 1, 2015, reserves of fuel at filling stations amounted to 107,400 tonnes of petrol, 60,900 tonnes of diesel fuel, 8,500 tonnes of liquefied gas, and 100 tonnes of compressed gas.
