Raiffeisen predicts Ukraine's GDP fall by 10% in 2015
Raiffeisen Research has said that Ukraine's GDP is expected to decline by 10% in 2015 compared to the fall of 6.8% in 2014, w ith growth also likely to remain subdued in 2016 (by around 1.5%), Raiffeisen Bank International said in a quarterly report published on Thursday.
Ten days ago ING experts presented the same forecast for Ukraine's GDP: the decline by 10% this year and growth of 1.5% next year.
Last week the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) worsened Ukraine's GDP decline from 5% to 7.5%. Ukrainian authorities have the same figure for GDP decline in their revised forecast. However, Ukraine and EBRD believe that the Ukrainian economy could grow by 3% in 2016.
