The total outstanding debt on loans the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) issued to banks and the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund in April rose by UAH 6.36 billion, while in March – by UAH 990 million, February – by UAH 8.87 billion.
The total debt reached UAH 136.62 billion, with growth since the beginning of the year amounting to UAH 17.47 billion, or 14.7%.
The NBU said that the volume of loans issued in April amounted to UAH 15.38 billion, the volume of repayment on loans - UAH 9.02 billion.
In March, the figures were UAH 16.22 billion and UAH 15.23 billion respectively, in February – UAH 36.03 billion and UAH 27.17 billion.
The NBU did not provide separate statistics for banks and for the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund.
