Putin asks Medvedev to take control of situation with Ukraine's debt, finance minister to hold relevant consultations
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to take the situation with the payment of Ukraine's debt to Russia under his control.
"We are hearing announcements of responsible entities about the fact that the possibility is being considered of not returning loans, which were received by the previous leadership of the country [Ukraine]. I would like to understand the intentions of our partners, and I would ask the finance minister to hold the relevant consultations," Putin said a meeting with government officials.
