Government cuts Pension Fund budget deficit by UAH 3.4 bln, to UAH 15.1 bln
The Cabinet of Ministers has reduced the deficit of the Pension Fund budget for 2015 by UAH 3.891 billion, to UAH 15.105 billion.
According to government regulation No. 283 of May 14, Pension Fund revenues were reduced by UAH 23.2 million, to UAH 236.101 billion. Income fell due to the reduction of subsidies from the national budget – by UAH 23.2 million, to UAH 61.845 billion.
Pension Fund expenditure was reduced by UAH 3.914 billion, to UAH 249.485 billion. At the same time, the Cabinet reduced costs for pensions to persons whose pensions are assigned in accordance with the law on compulsory state pension insurance, carried out at the expense of the Pension Fund, by UAH 3.891 billion, to UAH 183.987 billion.
As reported, the Pension Fund of Ukraine budget for 2015 was approved by the Cabinet on February 25.
Social Policy Minister Pavlo Rozenko said that the budget for the current year is balanced and the gap between revenues and expenditure will be fully covered by the national budget.
