Parliament allows registration of land parcels with documents drawn up before 2013

The Ukrainian parliament has passed draft law No. 0902 on the formation of land parcels and their state registration on the basis of land utilization documents drawn up before 2013.

A total of 263 lawmakers supported the document at a plenary session on Thursday.

According to an explanatory note to the document, before 2013 the major part of land parcels were formed on the basis of land utilization documents during privatization.

Most of the documents were drawn up before 2013 under the order of citizens and using their funds. However, the decision to transfer land parcels to them had not been made before this term.

The lawmakers said that dozens to thousands of citizens have had to order new documents.
