Ukraine wants to sign common aviation space agreement with EU in June
Ukraine wants to sign an agreement with the EU on a common aviation space as soon as possible.
"We insist on its signing in June," Ukrainian Ambassador to the EU Kostiantyn Yeliseyev told journalists in Brussels on Tuesday.
He said the agreement could be signed during a European Council meeting in June.
Ukraine and the European Union have been in talks on a common aviation space since 2006. In November 2013 the sides initialed the agreement, but its signing is being delayed over a territorial dispute between Britain and Spain over Gibraltar.
