Boryspil airport sees UAH 127 mln loss, net income rise by 14% in 2014
Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv), the largest airport in Ukraine, in 2014 saw a net loss of UAH 126.82 million, whereas in 2013 its net profit amounted to UAH 126.53 million.
According to the financial report of the airport in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, its net income last year increased by 13.9%, to UAH 1.577 billion.
Gross profit increased by 41.4%, to UAH 672.57 million, operating profit - by 50%, to UAH 665 million.
Boryspil International Airport is the largest airport in Ukraine with a total occupied area of about 1,000 hectares. The company has two runways: one with a length of 4,000 meters and a width of 60 meters, the other – 3,500 meters long and 63 meters wide. The airport has four passenger terminals and a post-cargo complex.
