Gazprom expects to export 152-153 bcm of gas in 2015 - deputy CEO
Gazprom plans to export 152 billion-153 billion cubic meters of gas outside the CIS in 2015, Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said during a conference call for investors.
"We have an expectation, not only forecast. Given that we are moving ahead of the last year's schedule, we have a current forecast for exports outside the CIS of 152 to 153 billion cubic meters, which, as you know, is substantially higher than last year's level," he said.
Medvedev's statement is not borne out by the available data so far: exports in the first four months of 2015 are down 12% year-on-year to 49 bcm.
Gazprom exported 147 bcm in 2014 and 162 bcm in 2013.
