Public joint-stock company Ukrnafta, the largest oil producer in Ukraine, increased its net profit by 4.3 times or UAH 1.498 billion in January-March 2015, to UAH 1.95 billion, the company said in a report posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine.
The company said that its net revenue grew by 55.9% or UAH 2.862 billion in Q1 2015 year-over-year, to UAH 7.983 billion, and gross profit was up by 51.2% or UAH 1.109 billion, to UAH 3.275 billion.
Ukrnafta sold oil worth UAH 3.47 billion (519,227 tonnes) in January-March 2015, fuel worth UAH 2.729 billion and ammonia worth UAH 961.151 million (267,474 tonnes).
Naftogaz Ukrainy owns a 50% plus one share stake in Ukrnafta, a group of companies related to the shareholders of PrivatBank (Dnipropetrovsk) - about 42% of the shares.
