Poroshenko approves amendments to law on Counting Chamber on its control of state budget funds
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has signed decree No. 274-VII on amending the law of Ukraine on the Counting Chamber adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on April 7, the president's press service has reported.
The amendments allow the chamber to control not only the spending of Ukraine's state budget, but also the flow of funds to it.
With this law, the Verkhovna Rada brought the law on Counting Chamber into line with Article 98 of the Constitution of Ukraine, which states that control over the flow of funds to the state budget and their use is executed by the Counting Chamber.
