Ukrtransnafta's net profit soars by 2.4 times in Q1
The net profit of PJSC Ukrtransnafta, the monopoly operator of crude oil transportation in Ukraine, soared by 2.4 times year-over-year in January through March 2015, to UAH 817.556 million.
Ukrtransnafta's net revenues in the first three months grew by 37%, to UAH 786.76 million, while gross profit increased by 2.2 times, to UAH 351.892 million, the company reported in the information disclosure system of the National Securities and the Stock Market Commission.
The amount of crude oil pumped by Ukrtransnafta in the first quarter of 2015 rose by 7.3%, to 4.356 million tonnes.
Ukrtransnafta operates Ukraine's oil transport system. It is wholly owned by NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy.
The system of Ukrtransnafta's trunk oil pipelines, which have a diameter of 159 to 1,220 millimeters and a total length of 4,700 kilometers, runs across 19 regions of Ukraine.
