Naftogaz to hold tender to select heads of Ukrtransnafta, Ukrgazvydobuvannia
National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy is preparing to hold a tender to replace the heads of public joint-stock company Ukrtransnafta and public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia, which fully belong to the holding, the Naftogaz Ukrainy press service reported on Wednesday.
"The conditions of the tender will be announced after agreeing them in a separate cabinet resolution," reads the report.
As reported, Naftogaz Ukrainy jointly with the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry has twice since the middle of March tried to gain control over Ukrtransnafta and appoint acting new heads, so far in vain.
Naftogaz said that at present the holding does not have control over public joint-stock company Ukrnafta where Naftogaz holds 50% plus one share.
Privat Group, which holds a minority stake in the company, carries out the operational management of Ukrnafta.
