Pivdenmash state enterprise (Dnipropetrovsk) has signed an agreement of long-term cooperation until 2020 with National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom.
A government source has told Interfax-Ukraine that the long-term cooperation includes modernization, designing, and the production of a wide range of energy equipment for nuclear power plants (NPPs) under the imports replacement program approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The cost of the cooperation agreement has not been disclosed.

"At present the SSAU [the State Space Agency of Ukraine] jointly with Pivdenmash is working on the program of long-term cooperation with separate power generating companies, first of all, DTEK. The share of Pivdenmash's production for nuclear and conventional energy sector could be up to 30% in the future," the source said.
