Ukraine imports 1.35 bcm of gas from Europe in March - Ukrtransgaz
Ukraine imported 1.349 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Europe in March, which is 11% up on February 2015, the press service of public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz reported on Thursday.
The press service said that growth in gas supplies was recorded from Slovakia – by 7%, to 1.177 bcm and Hungary – by 33%, to 149 million cubic meters.
In Q1 2015 3.649 bcm of gas was imported from Europe, while in January-March 2014 Ukraine imported gas only from Russia.
According to tentative data, as of morning April 2 daily supply of natural gas from Europe to Ukraine was around 40.5 million cubic meters.
