Russia's Gazprom gets $15 mln in prepayment for Naftogaz gas

Russia's OAO Gazprom has received another $15 million in advance payment for Russian gas from NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, Gazprom official representative Sergei Kupriyanov has told Interfax.

"We've got another $15 million. This money will be enough to get to about the middle of next year, i.e. April 1-2," he said.

Since February 26, Naftogaz has transferred $105 million to Gazprom for Russian gas supplies.

The first tranche worth $15 million for March supplies arrived on February 26, the next on March 4, then March 5, March 12, March 16, and March 20.

As PJSC Ukrtransgaz reported, Gazprom sent about 240 million cubic meters of gas to Ukraine on March 1-24.
