European Commission plans to issue Ukraine extra EUR 250 mln of micro-financial aid
In April the European Commission plans to issue an extra EUR 250 million of micro-financial aid to Ukraine, according to the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) report on the country.
"The country [Ukraine] received EUR 1.36 billion in macro-financial assistance loans in 2014, and should receive an additional EUR 250 million in April 2015, should the IMF program remain on track and policy conditions be met," reads the report.
The "Implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy in 2014" report assesses the implementation of the ENP in the EU's partner countries and provides a set of country specific and regional reports. The report on Ukraine underlines the key developments and reforms made in 2014 and makes recommendations for 2015.
