Ukraine imports gas from Europe at $322.5, from Russia - $335.7 in Jan – statistics
Ukraine in January 2015 imported natural gas from Europe at an average price of $322.5 per 1,000 cubic meters, from Russia – at $335.7 per 1,000 cubic meters.
According to the State Statistics Service, in January Europe supplied 1.068 billion cubic meters of natural gas, worth $344.501 million.
In particular, Ukraine received 389.802 million cubic meters of gas worth $126.349 million from contractors in Hungary (the average price is $324.1), Germany – 319.357 million cubic meters for $104.304 million ($326.6), from Norway – 237.764 million cubic meters for $73.731 million, from the UK – 94.096 million cubic meters for $31.469 million ($334.4), from Switzerland – 19.276 million cubic meters worth $6.008 million ($311.7), Luxembourg – 8.063 million cubic meters for $2.641 million ($327.5).
In January, Russia delivered 924.765 million cubic meters of gas worth $310.425 million (the average price - $335.7) to Ukraine.
