Ukrtransnafta's new management board chairman to be chosen in public competition - Demchyshyn
The new chairman of Ukrtransnafta's board will be selected in a public competition, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodomyr Demchyshyn said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
"Today we announced or will announce an open competition to replace Lazorko [the former head of Ukrtransnafta, Oleksandr Lazorko]. Let's find the right person," he said.
Demchyshyn added that the decision for Yuriy Miroshnyk to fill in for the position is temporary.
He said that as of March 20, Lazorko had not given the company's main stamp to a new chief.
As reported, the supervisory council of Ukrtransnafta decided to suspend Lazorko and temporarily appoint Miroshnyk as head of the company on March 19.
