Ukraine to get first IMF tranche by March 13 - Jaresko
Ukraine expects to receive the first tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by the end of tomorrow, March 13, Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko has said.
"We are expecting it tomorrow, if not today," she said.
As reported, the total assistance under the IMF program is SDR12.348 billion, or about $17.5 billion, while the first tranche which will be issued immediately totals SDR3.546 billion, or about $5 billion.
According to the fund, from the first tranche SDR1.915 billion, or about $2.7 billion, will be used for budget support, and the NBU will receive the remaining funds.
