Foreign investors interested in Ukrainian commercial property - UTG
Several groups of investors from various countries are studying the possibility of acquisition in Ukraine through participation in the capital of commercial property projects, mainly shopping centers worth $20-100 million, UTG consulting company (Kyiv), acting in the interests of investors as an investment broker for commercial property projects has said.
UTG told Interfax-Ukraine that there are three main groups of investors: firstly – international investment funds, secondly – investors from Russia who want to transfer their investment to other countries and thirdly – Ukrainians who became citizens of other countries.
UTG said that investors are mulling participation in the capital of projects being realized at the business expansion and growth stage, and in troubled assets.
UTG found it difficult to assess the total volume of potential investment. Investment in general depends on the availability of supply on the Ukrainian commercial property market which is in line with the requirements of investors.
