Competition agency to be changed in H1 2015, says minister
The structure of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine will be changed in the first half of 2015 and the antimonopoly law will be changed in the second half of the year according to a International Monetary Fund (IMF) memorandum, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius has said.
"Jointly with the economy ministry we've wrote in the memorandum with the International Monetary Fund that we're obliged to change the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in the first half of the year and appoint new head of the committee," he said in the parliament on Friday.
"In the second half of the year the antimonopoly law will be fully changed, as it is stipulated in the coalition agreement," he added.
