Government approves stages for introducing electronic VAT administration

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the stages for introducing the electronic value added tax (VAT) administration system.

The decision was stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 82 of March 4, 2015.

The cabinet said that the electronic VAT administration system will be introduced gradually during a trail period until July 1, 2015, or until another date which may be defined by a separate parliamentary decision if the term is reduced.

After this date the system will operate on a permanent basis.
