NBU issues UAH 700 mln as part of stabilization loan to PrivatBank
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has issued UAH 700 million as part of a stabilization loan to Ukraine's largest bank PrivatBank (Dnipropetrovsk) under the collateral of rolling stock, according to the NBU website.
According to the report, the decision was stipulated in the NBU order of February 27.
"Movable property in the form of railway rolling stock and guarantees from the owner of a significant stake in PJSC PrivatBank were provided as collateral for the NBU refinancing loan. One of the leading international auditing companies evaluated the collateral," reads the report.
Credit funds are granted for two years.
As reported, the National Bank of Ukraine on February 19 approved the issue of a two-year stabilization loan in the amount of UAH 2.28 billion to PrivatBank.
