NCER increases gas tariff for heat supply companies by 2.2 times
Ukraine's National Commission for Energy and Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) has increased the gas tariff for heat supply companies by 2.2 times or by UAH 1,625.10 per 1,000 cubic meters, to UAH 2,934.30 per 1,000 cubic meters (value added tax, extra charge and transportation and supply tariffs included).
An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that the decision was made by the commission at a meeting on Tuesday.
The tariffs will grow from April 1 and will cover only 24% of the price of imported gas used by heat supply companies.
