Coal stocks at Ukrainian TPPs 8.7% down in a week, says Ukrenergo
Coal stocks at warehouses of thermal power plants (TPPs) of ukraine in the period from February 22 to March 1 fell by 8.7% or 120,510 tonnes, to 1.262 million, Ukrenergo has said.
The company said that anthracite coal stocks decreased from 331,390 tonnes to 247,890 tonnes.
Fuel oil stocks over the period rose from 111,150 tonnes to 111,340 tonnes.
The company said that on March 1 some 36 coal power units and two fuel oil power units at the thermal power plants of generating companies with a capacity of 6.937 GW were operating.
