Government allows Ukrgazvydobuvannia to sell its Euro-2 fuel until 2016

The Cabinet of Ministers has allowed PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia to sell petrol and diesel fuel of domestic production, which do not fully meet the requirements of technical regulations for petrol, diesel fuel and fuel oil, until December 31, 2015.

The corresponding decision was stipulated in government decree No. 65 dated January 23, 2015.

The sale of such fuel is permitted through the Ukrgazvydobuvannia own network of filling stations, through auctions (public tenders) or by the decision of the Cabinet.

As reported, technical requirements for petrol, diesel fuel and fuel oil establish three classes of environmentally friendly petrol and diesel fuel in the country: Euro-3, Euro-4 and Euro-5, depending on the sulfur content.
